Just an update on the recent H1N1 flu. Well, as of Today, the Alert level has dropped to Yellow. Good news for certain places, as the normal temperature taking/screening of visitors has stopped. Well except for certain places where the normal measurement of temperature taking when in Alert Orange remained as per normal.

Talk about taking temperature, most of the local shops and pharmacies have displayed a sign stating that Thermometer is available at their stores since the flu outbreak. Well, its good that at least they have anticipated with the high demands for thermometers, especially with concerns mothers on their kids.

Other than the sale of thermometers, they are also an increase in the number of hand gloves, N95 mask/face mask, antiseptic hand wash. A visit to any public toilet would show an increase the frequency of washing of toilets by the cleaners. Well, to be honest, and i shall not disclose any particular place that i had visited, only when during this time of an event, that the cleaners geared up and frequently wash the toilet.

Well, anyway shall not comment more than that because maybe they are busy with other things. As far as I’m concerned, that you as my reader, are in good health and living peacefully. Being a person who strictly follows my own religion beliefs, maybe, this is just a test from the God up there to all of us, to make us realise that in Life, you can’t take things around you for granted and learn to appreciate with what we have.

Alright, shall not bored you with all this extra comments, since my topic is just to share about the Alert Status as of today, 11th May 2009, which is yellow. Hopefully, in the coming weeks, it will drop further to Alert Green and normal status.
