Today, I was frustrated when I found my left rear tyre half flat. Sensing that it was just a normal flat went out to the nearest petrol kiosk to top up air. I was surprised that halfway through, I nearly skidded when negotiating a normal bend near my area on a wet morning at a low legal speed limit.
Having this “Kan Chong” spirit in me, I proceeded to Stamford Tyre at Admiralty Northlink Building, my usual hangouts for nitrogen air top-ups and etc. One of the guys checked through my tyres and hey, they found out a medium sized Nail stucked neatly in the middle section. I was advised to change my tyres and sensing it was time for a change, decided to go ahead with it.
No doubt, changing tyres is no big deal but hey, being first timer in it, makes me sit back and slowly calculating my finances on the prices of the new tyres. Finally, I was contented and choose Continental ContiSportContact 2. More about the tyres can be found HERE. Here are few pics of the tyres and the process of installing it @ Stamford Tyre Admiralty.
