Several areas in parts of Singapore experienced flash flood on 28th Nov 2007. NEA said the highest rainfall recorded was 99mm, occurring around in Somerset area between 2.30pm and 5pm.
The flash flood was caused as the intense rainfall coincided with a high tide, which hit central part of SG around 2.30pm quoted by PUB.
This led to flash floods in several low-lying areas in city, Apart from Orchard Road area, other flooded spots included Jalan Besar, Indus Road, and Tiong Bahru, Lower delta Road, So just beware of low lying areas.
Read the newspaper and saw a lot of cars being stuck in the flood. Hope the owner is Ok.
